Dr. Magalhães graduated with a Medicine degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a medical residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics. He is licensed to practice in Brazil under license # CRM 374840-RJ, as well as in Portugal with the Order of Doctors under license #48006.

He is an active member of the National Academy of Medicine, and obtained a Masters followed by Doctorate in Gynecology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

He is currently a consultant in Breast Cancer Care at Rede D’ Or São Luiz.
